Design: Mannequin Graphic Element
September 10, 2009Graphic element for an installation project I’m working on. This will live on a 24 in x 36 in canvas. There will be three mannequins surrounding it. The canvas will live on the floor and the mannequins will be attached to the canvas in a dynamic way. There will be an addition of my mixed media process to the canvas as well. The complete installation will represent the addiction and corruption of fossil fuels in America.
It’s a map of Washington DC. I traced every road in the program Illustrator.
Pictures of the complete installation will be coming soon. I’m very close.
Design: RLB Icons and Color Choice
September 5, 2009The start of the Ross Livermore Band Branding. Created these Icons from a painting given to Ross from me. He ended up writing a song called “Toy Guns” based off of the painting. Please click here to view the painting. The title of the new album was based off the song, “Toy Guns”.
The color choice for the band was geared towards their “Generation Y” fan base. Soft, gentle, emotional and inward were a few thoughts going through my head as I chose the colors. I feel that they play off of the lyrics really well. Ross writes about heart break and human relationships.
